I have known Stacy for 14 years and I have been one of his students' for 12 of those of years. While under Stacy's instruction, taking things one step at a time, I have gotten my handicap down to a 7. Stacy focuses on fundamentals and does not fill your head with too many thoughts at once. Since I started taking lessons from Stacy I have shot one round of even par (72), and I have matched my age (74), not to mention 2 holes in one. Since he has sent me the swing analysis video critiquing my last lesson, I have watched it five times, and it is absolutely fabulous. I have learned something new each time I have watched it, and have taken notes on the points that he told me to work on. Know Your Instructor's Qualifications:

 

Obviously if you are reading this right now you are looking for a golf instructor to help you to learn the game, or improve your game. Many of you may assume that all golf instructors have relatively the same qualifications, and are searching for the instructor that charges the lowest or most affordable fee. I have had many student's over the years that have spent hundreds, or even thousands of dollars on other instructors who were not qualified to teach the game at an acceptable level, and as a result the student saw little if any improvement. They too, like many of you out there also assumed that most if not all golf instructor's taught the same, or as I stated earlier had relatively the same qualification's as some of the more expensive instructors in the teaching business. When we as patients search for a doctor to perform surgery on us, most of us will conduct thorough research to find the physician that is most qualified to perform the surgery regardless of the costs'. When choosing your golf instructor make sure that you research the instructor's experience, P.G.A. credentials, as well as the instructors student's willingness, to provide nationally publicized testimonials from players of varying skill levels in order to verify the instructor's true success for being able to help his/her student's play to the best of their ability.  Regardless of whether you choose me, or another instructor to help you with your game, please for your sake, do your research.
